Make Your Own Slime

Looking for a quick, easy activity? Why not make some squishy slime?

Making your own slime is quite easy, don't you know. All it takes is equal parts regular elmer's glue and liquid laundry starch (and a little food coloring, if you want - which you know you do).

1. Pour the glue (I used 1/4 cup - it doesn't take much) and a few drops of food coloring into a zip-lock baggie and squish it to mix. Once the color is evenly distributed, add your liquid starch (again, I use 1/4 cup).

2. Resume squishing for a few minutes until the starch and glue thicken and make slime (there will be a little liquid left over - just chuck it with the bag).
