Making your own slime is quite easy, don't you know. All it takes is equal parts regular elmer's glue and liquid laundry starch (and a little food coloring, if you want - which you know you do).
1. Pour the glue (I used 1/4 cup - it doesn't take much) and a few drops of food coloring into a zip-lock baggie and squish it to mix. Once the color is evenly distributed, add your liquid starch (again, I use 1/4 cup).
2. Resume squishing for a few minutes until the starch and glue thicken and make slime (there will be a little liquid left over - just chuck it with the bag).
3. Enjoy your slime! A word of warning, though: this slime is the kiss. of. death. to all fabrics, upholstery, carpet, etc. It will stain, stick and REFUSE to quit, so keep this stuff on hard, non-porous surfaces only! Seriously.
