Someday, I will have a lovely laundry room with counter space and cabinets and a sink and storage for things like laundry detergent and cleaning supplies (imagine that). But for now, I have a tiny, unimpressive laundry nook. It is small and cramped and not at all lovely. Well, at least it was "not at all lovely."
Using a few dollars and a little creativity, I gave the laundry closet a little facelift. It may not be completely lovely, but it's better than what it was before.
And, yes. I know how awful this looks. And, yes. I'm cringing, too. And yes, that is a griddle on top of my washing machine. Yes. A griddle. For pancakes. In my laundry closet.
And, no, apparently I have no shame...
Ta-da!
Bins for storage and organization.
A ribbon to hang wet things up to dry. I love clothes pins. They strike me as decorative, for some reason.
{Don't tell me those cloth diapers aren't uber adorable!}
A little color, some much needed organization, and a good clean "de-junking" (i.e. the griddle is now in the kitchen, where it belongs) did wonders for my laundry "room"... and all for six dollars. Not too shabby.
